Back to Claremont …dogs allowed again!

Like many NT properties no dogs were allowed during the summer months but they are again from October . To day we went to Claremont ( during the various lockdowns we went there nearly every weekend to meet up with daughter and grandchildren) . It was so so quiet ..very few people. Partly due to the rain that was forecast and partly maybe because of petrol shortages? We saw two garages with no fuel and two with queues but the queues were not too long.
Libby seemed to recognise our usual route round the lake.
I do like the way they always have some interesting quote on the board as you go in, and it’s written in a nice script too!
I look forward to visiting again when the trees have changed colour and to see the lovely tulip tree when the leaves are yellow..I checked today and they are still green.
The single black swan is still there..so the one in Bushy Park is definitely a different one.
