Even The Bad Times Are Good

If you can't beat them, join them. Gave up complaining despite being -4°C & snowing and set to work in the horse stables this morning. Radio reception was poor so looked for another channel and landed on "Bayern 1". It's Bavaria's Radio 2 of the Jimmy Young/Terry Wogan era. Have to say swinging the muck rake around & chasing frozen horse droppings was a lot easier with Manfred Mann and his "Ha ha said the clown" & the Hollies "The air that I breath" (for Annie) and the Tremelos (the Blip title). OK have to put up with Glen Campbell, Paper Lace, Sheena Easton. A special highlight today was the famous Hamburg FC player Kevin Keegan singing "Head over heels in love".
For those interested here is a link to the playlist of last 100 songs. When I look at it can't stop getting the songs on Youtube. Was life better then? Was spring, spring & was there more snow in winter & didn't the sun shine non stop from June to September?
