STORMY WEATHER

A busy day today, just going over to Mum's.  Hubby managed to get some petrol the other day with no problems so that could visit her to do any chores needed.

On the way over it was really very wet and windy.  We went down the M6 until Carnforth because there had been an accident southbound betweens Junctions 37 and our junction 36.  The M6 was very busy but we still kept moving.

On the way home we stopped off on Morecambe Prom again but much further down than we usually do.  It was very windy but the sun was shining so it was lovely.

Then we continued on the A6 so called into Levens Kitchen Cafe for coffee (sshhh and some blackberry and lemon drizzle cake, one slice plenty for two).  

Now home for the rest of the evening.  Hoping to pop out somewhere this week, weather and petrol permitting, so we will see.
