Prebirthday

With exquisite imperfect timing I have three children with three years gap between each child and only 7 weeks between the birthdays. In a few weeks it’s the boys 18th and 21st so seeing as my father was over from France and we all haven’t seen him for nearly two years decided to do the family party today.
Select few met earlier in the day for our fave day out of, you’ve guessed it, Alandas for fish and chips , then a wee walk on the beach at North Berwick followed by an ice cream. It was a bit chilly but we made the most of it.
Then the less select joined us at home for a massive paella and tapas night and big family quiz before presents and three birthday cakes for all the September birthdays. Great fun and a good start to the boys’ special month.
