Life after Burradoo, NSW

Chatting over the back fence

Having to stand a few metres apart didn’t take from the enjoyment of being out in the sun, with a soft breeze blowing, and catching up with our neighbour K over the back fence. We have hardly seen her over the past 18 months.

The fence which provided the necessary support is really the fence between K’s property and the Estate. The red hedge and the small picket fence are on the boundary of our own land. In between our boundary and K’s property is an easement which forms part of the Estate’s common land.

We even managed not to talk about Covid all of the time.
