Life after Burradoo, NSW

Fragrant wisteria

I was about 13 when I was first taken to a public garden. It was to see a wisteria display. I thought the wisteria was wonderful, both because of its delicacy and because of its fragrance. It was the first time I experienced being entranced by flowers.

We are very fortunate to have a wisteria growing on the arbor just outside our back gate (see extra). I would prefer it to have been the mauve version but it is still beautiful.
