Water of Leith Visitors Centre.

Heading up to Edinburgh for a few days with Katkatkat.  The run up was trouble free apart from weather, it was the sort where the need for screen wipers/speed of wipers/need for wipers seemed to change by the minute.

We had arranged to pick KKK up from the Water of Leith Visitors Centre as it was a Sunday she was working.  We arrived a little early so enjoyed a coffee and cake (well you have to don't you) before wandering round the exhibition.

The blip shows a general view of part of the exhibition.  The tree and the wall behind have sounds which children can hear through a device they carry round.  To the right is a video microscope showing various "wee beasties" from river.  Over to the left are displays of the mammals, fish and birds with models and information.  In the foreground is part of a model kids can play with illustrating rivers flooding and building flood defences.
