Jelly Antlers

..probably, aka Yellow Stagshorn Fungus though I didn't poke it to see if it had a greasy surface to distinguish it from other similar fungi. Its Latin name is calocera viscosa. It was definitely eye-catching in the woods, growing on a tree stump just like it says in the book (well, on the webpage). I rather like the jelly antlers name though.

The extra is a lone gull, hanging out with the ducks at Mugdock Park. I had to look that up too to identify it as a black-headed gull, without the black head as it is in its winter plumage. I like the leafy autumn reflections.

Blip is certainly making me do a bit of research after my walks.
