In with the new

The man decided today he was ready to do the last piece of remodel in the downstairs bath...the vanity. The built in was 40 years old and it was on the second or third sink so we went for a little wider vanity and a marble top sink that was all one piece.

The old cabinet was a pain to get out as it seemed to be constructed piecemeal. But it is out and we are getting ready to set the new in place. As soon as Jerry finishes some work for the heat and air vent that comes out under the vanity.

I don’t think I will mention any other home improvements for a long time. But ...I really would like the back porch screened in so I can sit out there without being bothered by bugs! Maybe next year!
