A Little Sunshine

...goes a long way.

Crocus salzmannii, a pot brought indoors where the extra warmth opened the flowers a little.   An easily grown species that did ok in the garden in Norwich.   These are seed raised from my own seed.

A work day, the rotas rearranged hastily last night after the head cook called in sick.  She'll be off for a while but most of the cover will come from other folk, I'm a handy last minute extra pair of hands.   Hands which today have done a lot of washing up!   A cafe shift at Abergynolwyn tomorrow and the volunteer arm is still looking for a guard for Thursday.   Could be a busy week.

Katie very kindly came round and sat with Meg for a while this afternoon until I got back from work.   This evening I have given a talk on Zoom to the Mediterranean Garden Society on crocuses and I'm about to go out to  lock up at work, walk Meg and pop in to see Jamie.   His mum is coming to stay with him from tomorrow for a few days, he's excited :-)
