Garden wildlife

We like to think we do our bit for the environment by encouraging wildlife in the garden with our pond. Frogs, toads and birds are welcome – big stuff like deer are not.

But could we do more? Well, we are about to find out in two weeks time when Froglife, a national charity, organises a free workshop in our local allotments in Bridge of Allan. (Saturday October 24th).

Apparently one third of ponds have disappeared in the last fifty years and they are running a campaign to encourage us all to provide water for wildlife in the garden.
