A Day Out

Almost autumn is just about showing in the trees and bushes, and there were plenty of signs on the hour and a half drive from home to Mansfield (and back), so I reckon that this wide angle shot of  the Kings Mill Hospital car park just about qualifies.  The fact that it’s the disabled parking slot say’s that the W’s are in their Autumn Years does add a bit of credibility, perhaps.

A heck of a long way to go just because our surgery no longer does steroid injections, and Pauline would have had to wait weeks (plus) for a local appointment.  Fortunately her RA consultant could pull a few strings, but that meant going to her ‘base’ hospital.  We normally go to Newark.

So many thanks to Steveng for hosting WidWed this week.
