Head in the Clouds

A day in Birmingham today - my old haunt when working for the A panel. Just caught the train up when traffic delays meant the 'loads of time' I had started with, ended as parking car, a swift sprint to the platform and boarding train!

A lovely day with blip buddy Hildasrose looking at the renovation of this vibrant city. Still lots to be done if they're to be ready for the Commonwealth Games next year, and several new buildings going up. The sky was wonderful with fantastic clouds so Queen Vic is reaching majestically up. An extra of a favourite building - Birmingham Library.

Pleasant journey home with train busy but certainly not crowded.
