Hobbit shelters and graupel!

Something a bit different today from the dog walk!

No birds!!!

Just some hobbit shelters and a phenomenon known as "Graupel" apparently!

Graupel is the name given to the small white balls of half snow-half hail that have been falling recently.
Apparently this phenomenon occurs when supercooled droplets of water are collected and freeze on a falling snowflake.

So there!

Or maybe they are hobbit golfballs!
