Glorious morning

A very mild 14 degrees Celsius at 7 o’clock this morning when I set out. On the coast the tide was running high and a weather system in the Atlantic was causing a huge swell allowing the sea to breach the defences in places. No one was swimming at Westward Ho but a few hardy ladies were swimming just off Appledore lifeboat slipway, a rather inquisitive seal joined them and most of them made a hasty retreat. (Quite entertaining)
Forgot to mention watching the MS Oldenburg bouncing accross the bar towards Luny Island, not a trip for the feint hearted today.
