Ik ween om bloemen

When I took this picture I had to think of the poem "Ik ween om bloemen" (I weep for flowers) by Willem Kloos. The first line of the poem starts like "I weep for flowers broken in the bud".
I had to quote this in one of my first participations in an amateur theater play. I was playing some stiff student kind of guy.
But none of these buds were broken. What amazed me most was the high number of buds, as we have early October.
