New

I work on the edge of the cbd of a city I no longer live in. Other than work I have few reasons to go to Christchurch.

Today I found myself in a part of the city I haven't been in for years (or at least well over a year).

The intersection of Victoria, Montreal, and Salisbury streets is very different to before the earthquakes.

Whatever you may think of modern commercial buildings, at least there is no wrecked buildings in sight here. These are all rebuilds. I like the lines and the angles - the best I could do from my car at traffic lights.

Today's gratitude: For a visit to my podiatrist. He's the master at things feet and in a week's time I'll have new orthotics.
