Fortescue Falls

We were up at sunrise today so we could make the most of the coolish weather (i.e. 28 degrees instead of 40), and because we had no choice but to wake up with the crows cawing and the sun shining in the windows of the tent. We went to Dale Gorge to see Circular Pool (not at all circular) and a couple of waterfalls. This one here is called Fortescue Falls and the rocks are pretty much a staircase so you can climb up to the top of the waterfall. All very cool but by the end of 2 days of gorges they all ended up looking pretty similar! After that it was just a long, long drive to Pardoo Roadhouse to get set up in some swags. It's been a while since I've been camping but Aussie swags are so much more comfortable than a normal sleeping bag!
