Birthday Lego

We went to a nature reserve near Hatfield. We’d been a couple of years ago when it was brilliant, we even saw a kingfisher with fish. This time the gates were chained up but we found a different pedestrian entrance to get in. It was a great disappointment as everywhere was so overgrown that we couldn’t see anything and people had dumped stuff there including a pair of mattresses. What a pity!

While in the area we went for a ride on a miniature railway that we enjoyed. To get to it we had to go through a garden centre with a big Christmas display. Needless to say, a string of tinsel (come boa) had to be purchased. Extra photo.

When we got back, the new Lego boat was done (with a bit o help from her dad).
