Fun in the woodland

This morning we went for a walk along the Ver Trail at St. Albans which follows the River Ver. O and I were running between banks when I took this photo of them.

After something to eat I drove home. It was a terrible journey as there was roadworks on the M6 and only two lanes in use. The traffic jam was horrendous and was either static or crawling for miles.

It was a lovely weekend though and great to see the family.
