Harvest

Taken yesterday and uploaded Monday cos I forgot
This morning we had our harvest service with the pumpkin I was given in the centre. The other large one I made into at least 30 portions of soup in 3 batches and enough to make a cake tomorrow
In a FaceTime call with the family today we learnt that great grandpa died at 4;30 this morning. He was 96 and had been in hospital with pneumonia for several weeks . His death was expected but it still comes as a shock when it happens. Christie was too together this evening when she told us. Guessing she might fall apart when she tells Matt when he gets home
