Dessert

We had friends coming for lunch. PY fired up the BBQ and cooked some chicken that he had been marinating since yesterday and served it with a Greek Salad and some flatbreads that he had made. It was delicious. Our friend Rob brought the cheesecake desert which was, as with everything he makes, absolutely delicious.  Amongst the many bottles that we drank, we opened a Two Sisters wine that we picked up when we were all in Canada a couple of years ago. It was delicious - although we opened it just as desert was being served and had to agree that it tasked better when we weren’t also eating very sweet stuff.

They left around 10pm so it was a lovely way to spend a Bank Holiday Sunday.  The weather held and we were able to sit outside and use the garden for most of the day; eventually coming in as it got a bit chilly as the sun went down. I wonder if it will be the last time in the garden this year?
