Boats on Lindisfarne

After a leisurely breakfast, we set off for Lindisfarne a little later than intended.

Once there, we found a cafe where Tom very kindly treated us to lunch, and it was plenty warm enough to sit outside to eat. Then a walk around the island. Overcast and dry to start off with, but it wasn't long before the rain started... No matter, it's lovely to walk on Lindisfarne whatever the weather. Just time to call back at the café for some cake for MrM and Tom before it was time to leave.

Next stop was Berwick, to wave Tom off on the train back to Leeds. Hopefully it won't be too long before we see him again.
