Last Glory?

The achimenes have finished flowering for this year but a couple of kohleria still have flowers in good condition.   I don't have a varietal name for this one which has flowers that hang down on long pedicels.  Catching the late sun shows off the tiny hairs on them.

A less busy day, I did find time to start planting the crocus seed this afternoon and Ruth and I cooked up delicious Teriyaki Chicken for tea after taking Meg out for a decent walk in the lanes where some late blackberries were picked.   Jamie had a busy afternoon with Tim and was delighted with a present received from Katie and her Mum - a large, nicely mounted, poster celebrating seventy years of Marvel comic strip heroes :-)
