Parasitisation

I think there are two types of oak leaf gall wasp here and I was only reading about them in the RSPB magazines yesterday - a silk button gall wasp and a common spangle gall wasp.  Apparently, they are alive in there and stay in the leaves as they drop to the floor and over-winter there.
