INCONSPICUOUS

I spotted a movement in the long grass across a field and (just) managed to see this pheasant, a young male, I think, and two hens fossicking about. You may just see the tail of one of the hens on the left of the photo, but they were much better hidden. I think cock pheasants are just born to be show-offs.
