The Ards Man brought me a gift today. I guess I’ll have to get back to the drawing board!

We’re redecorating elder daughter’s bedroom at the moment. Well, all the work is currently being carried out by the AM: plantation shutters made, walls and ceiling painted (I helped a bit with this) and new flooring being laid today.

I will step in for the room design, natch. I’ll have to buy a bed. I haven’t told you about the wondrous thing that ‘the folks on the hill’ (our politicians) have lavished on the populace. Everyone over 18 can apply for a ‘spend local’ card with £100 on it. I know! Brill. I may be putting mine towards that bed. Although I’d rather buy wine and sweeties.
