Hijacking a photoshoot

Bisk hijacking a photoshoot on the South Bank. Actually, we all hijacked the photoshoot, but it was happening in a very public place, so...

More pictures of the blip-meet here.

It was a gorgeous, sunny day, and I met Bisk, his friend Chris (not a blipper, not yet) and McDawg at Cleopatra's Needle. As Chris was photographing planes behind the London Eye, Bisk spotted a group of pirates outside Temple station. A perfect bliportunity! In no time at all, Bisk had those pirates all lined up for a group shot. Then they ran towards a ship, tried to hijack it, ran away when the owner shouted at them. 'It's the wrong ship lads!' yelled the pirates. A jogger ran past, and the pirates ran after her swords held aloft.

We ambled down the north bank, and I gained some tips about shutter speed. We ended up in Doggett's pub for a pint where we met Snappydancer. A wander down the South Bank and there was so much to photograph: a photoshoot on a pier, people sleeping in deckchairs outside a bookshop, a photoshoot in the skateboard park... all in all, a brilliant day. Time flew by. Did I mention the dog? He was a star.
