Shield Bug

Don't think I have seen one of these in the garden before.
Quite a busy day, took Moreen to the park & Ride this morning to the mobile breast screening unit for a scheduled x ray.
Then did a bit of tiding in the garden where I found the bug. This afternoon at 2 we had to go and get our flue jab then Moreens hairdresser came to give her a trim.
 Between times I made a batch of sourdough this week it is granary with walnut.
