Peak District

On the road again.  We arrived at our cottage near Buxton this afternoon.  Close behind us is High Wheeldon so it had to be climbed! The monument at the top is an OS Trig Point and attached is a plaque dedicating the hill to the memory of the men of Derbyshire and Staffordshire who gave their lives in WW2.  I was hoping for a glowing sunset but dark rain clouds steaming in from the west put paid to any spectacular light show.  Still, there are 6 more days to get that shot!
