Welcome to the Caledonian Canal

This morning was rainy a bit breezy, but after checking some local knowledge we set off along Loch Lochy.  We were rewarded with an ever changing sky of clouds, squalls, mist and rainbows!

We pressed on through the last section of canal to Banavie (which Cyclops and CyclopsJnr cycled just over a year ago), and then walked down to the Sea Loch at Corpach, reaching the western end of the canal where it meets the sea.  When we get back to return the boat we'll make a similar trip at the other end so we've truly done coast-to-coast!

We finished the day off we a nice meal in a bistro overlooking Neptunes Staircase (Scampi and Sticky Toffee Pudding - yum!)
