Hanging On

You don't really get the sense of height from a photo, do you? I was quite scared standing so near the edge.
The pampas grass along the coast is not native - it's supposed to have arrived as packing on sailing ships that loaded up in South America* - so from the pampas, in fact! It certainly thrives here.
*(I've read Two Years Before the Mast, so I believe it)
