meerkat bundle!

The tortoises were harrassing the sleeping meerkats this morning at the Southend Sealife centre! We popped in there for a quick visit as we hadn't been there for a while - and to get in before half term begins! so it was lovely to see all the animals as always!

And this afternoon we're all in total shock over the murder of a local MP, Sir David Amess, while he held his constituency surgery in Leigh On Sea.  it was horrific 5 years ago when Jo Cox was also murdered, just doing her job, but to think these things are still happening is just sickening.  So much hatred about, so much division...... my thoughts go out to his family and friends on this dreadful day
