Carol

I met Carol while she was sitting on a bench outside the library, chatting to Len and admiring Basil. Lovely lady.

Sunny today, made a change from the gloom of earlier this week.

We bought plaice for tea and a few veggies at the market. Len had already bought the eggs.

Popped into Colin's. After all of last week's dramas getting to hospitals and so on, he's a lot better than he was and the lump in his throat has turned out not to be cancerous. You'd think he would be happy about that ...

His neighbour Jackie from across the road who looked after Basil last time has got Covid. She won't be travelling to Cyprus this weekend then. Colin maintains that he has been distant from her so he hasn't been tested. Pity he doesn't understand about aerosols and airborne transmission. Len and I will have to do our tests early next week to be sure we're OK.

At home, I napped. Then I uploaded the latest edition of DI News to the RPS DI website. Must go cook tea now.

And good news about Carol B. She was released from hospital today.
