Flower Friday

A busy day and I'm just back from a formal dinner for old boys from my school (which I left 51 years ago - it always seems like yesterday when I go back!).

Anyway before I went I took this shot of one of the alstroemeria I bought for my Editor 3 weeks ago - they're lasting well! On this occasion I decided to focus on the stamen and let some of the rest of the flower be out of focus. (I didn't have time to blip it before I went out.)
