On Saturdays and Sundays workmen do no work at all

There are still pretty flowers* around - these ones were on the common.

The patio workers don't seem to do weekends, so we're still waiting for all the rubbish to be got rid of. And the new patio of course, but some of that rubbish is downright dangerous and I'd like it gone!

*Edited to Add: thanks to TonyL for identifying this plant as the Spindle plant Euonymus europaeus. It turns out those are fruit, not flowers.
