Polesden Lacey again

Neil and I had a trip to Polesden Lacey and this time we went inside the house. It's really lovely, and feels much more like a place where people lived than most such houses, which is odd because apparently it was a weekend getaway.

There were some interesting portraits by famous artists. Well, apparently they were famous but I hadn't heard of them. One is in the extras. I actually think the girls face is rather oddly painted but it's a famous painting by Pieter de Hoogh and is called the Golfers.
