Ticket to ride - Italy

We were the guests of Mr hazelh's cousin Guy and his family today. They live a 30 minute walk from us - today in the sunshine along the cycle paths.

Our visit started with a delicious lunch of saffron risotto with porcini mushrooms, handpicked by Guy's wife Marzia's family on the Italian/Swiss border. Chocolate Daim cake and ice cream followed. Then, while 2 year-old Enrico took his afternoon nap, out came Ticket to ride - Italy. I've only played this game a couple of times before so I didn't perform particularly well, but I still enjoyed the action.

After our fun afternoon we wandered back home again for a quiet Saturday evening in.

Exercise today: walking (10,465 steps).
