Shaggy Inkcaps

Not the first time I’ve blipped inkcaps but this was such a fine pair I couldn’t resist.

They are edible and tasty if fried when young and more importantly, very fresh. They deliquesce rapidly meaning they kind of dissolve into a black ink. This however can be fixed by adding a splash of water and hearing it, apparently. I really must try it.

We found them down along the river Drance where we had a brisk walk to stretch yesterday’s aching muscles. It’s been a super week.
