Derwentwater

We woke to drizzly rain, not entirely unexpected in the Lake district.  We had decided not to do a walk today because of the forecast so had coffee in Keswick and did some shopping, and walked partway along  Derwentwater towards Friars Crag.  The sun was trying to emerge and gave some lovely rays and moody light. Photo from Strandshag bay showing, I think, Rampsolme island in the spotlight, though I stand to be corrected.. After that we had a delicious lunch at the Theatre cafe.
Now we're about to get ready to go and see No Time To Die at the just reopened Alhambra cinema. Looking forward to it.
