In a Little John

After a long day of meetings by ZOOM, i had a late afternoon run which took me through the Highfield Garden where I saw a number of Tauhou (Whiteeyes) flitting around in a cluster of Little John shrubs. These are also known as Creek bottlebrush, an Australian import to New Zealand.

I had to take a phone call while on the path through the narrow belt of native trees bordering the donkey paddocks. Which resulted in just enough time for me to get back and have a shower before joining my Peer Review Group for a one hour Zoom meeting. We are meeting more often than usual as a couple of members are wanting closer support at the moment.
