Bit drippy

Decidedly damp morning ....... we hoped the weatherman was right that it would be dry after lunch.

It did stop raining by about 2.15pm so we got our gear on ..... including wearing macs (of course) just in case!

Although dull & grey it was good to get out for a walk .... think the fresh air did Hubby good too.

Loved these drippy Hawthorn berries ..... they just had to be blipped :-)

There were lots of little birds about Blue Tit, Great Tit, Chaffinch & Goldfinch ...... we saw a Buzzard being mobbed by Crows ...... they really are bullies! There were Pigeons & a Pheasant in the field & several Cormorants did a fly past :-)

A Green Woodpecker laughed at us as it flew overhead!

Then on the way back we saw a female Great Spotted Woodpecker high in the tree (Extra)

As we approached our door it started to rain .... we timed it just right! :-)
