Project 365 day 292: red fuchsia, black ant

 I've been photographing the fuchsia for at least a fortnight without ever choosing it for my blip, so it's time its beautiful, vivid colours were shared. I didn't spot the insect, which looks like an ant, until I looked at it through a zoom lens. I wasn't very hopeful about the results from the ten or fifteen minutes I spent in the windy, drizzly garden before lunch, but was pleasantly surprised. If I have time, I'll add a couple of extras tomorrow.
