Bonfires

Another very calm start to the day and it seemed that all the locals were having bonfires before the burning season finishes shortly. This smoke was fine until the wind got up slightly and changed direction...

The last day of welding and wood stacking, for a while anyway... some decisions will have to be made about how to construct security bars around our friends' front door and porch. They are not liking being barred in at all, but if it puts off the burglars who cares!

p.s. I seem to have missed so much of other people's journals... I'll try and do better!
