High Winds

Very windy tonight. 

I have been staying inside in the warm, feeling guilty that there are people freezing to death on the border not far away. Also, the pandemic has again hit this area with full force because many people won't get vaccinated. 

I went outside to feed the cats and close the barn door and looked at the clouds racing across the face of the moon. 

I did an experiment earlier with the rice cooker. I used some short grained rice (risotto) and one and a half times the volume of milk, some brown sugar, vanilla and nutmeg. The result was a non-sloppy version of rice-pudding. Maybe a touch more milk and sugar next time. Very easy though.
