The Custom House,Weymouth

An amazing bright sunny day in Weymouth. The Custom House alongside the harbour is now one of many coffee shops/ restaurants on this road. Lots of people around in the whole town including lots walking on the beach but only a few actually in the sea!
The Custom House building was built about 1794 and was originally a warehouse and residence . By 1874 it had modifications and the then owner leased the building to HM Customs who used the building to handle the trade of Weymouth harbour until 1985.
On the right a previous warehouse building now has apartments on the upper floors and a cafe and E Bike shop on the ground floor. I was with a friend who already has an electric bike but wants to part exchange it for a different one!
