A wet start

First day of the workshop was pretty damp - started at Lanthwaite woods, which were very productive, with some good autumn colours and lots of interesting fungi. When we got to the edge of the lake The weather really closed in (and the wind!)

Having made our way back to the cars, we felt we had to decant to a tea room until the rain eased off. We just had time at the end of the day to pop up to Ashness Bridge.

THe falls were flowing well, and just next to it I found this fabuilous Fly Agaric, Although it was raining pretty hard, I managed a 10 shot focus stack
