Keil`s Den, Upper Largo

I realised this morning that it was several months since we`d been to this beautiful 400 year old mixed woodland.  We got parked no bother and had a really lovely walk.

We passed four dogs with their owners, but otherwise it was super quiet, apart from the birds.  The light was beautiful.  It was cold but not as cold as yesterday, and there was little or no breeze and no rain at all.  We were walking on a carpet of fallen leaves most of the way.
So much to see and look at, even when we got glimpses out of the woodland, up towards Largo Law, or down to the sea.

It was a perfect autumn walk, and a total joy with Geordie beside me.
