The Footbridge….

Maisie and I were out of the house at 5.45am this morning. There was a red sky to the east, the colour reflecting on the river at a footbridge. “Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning”. Later I visited some garden centers for vegetable and flower plants. I got a notification on my phone around lunchtime advising the presence of an infectious Covid-19 case in Blenheim. Someone from the Waikato I believe. This person was all over town, while infectious, to around “10 Locations of Interest“ over two days. We are very unhappy about it. The first case in the South Island during the current outbreak.
