It is my nephews' 16th birthday today - how the flip did that happen!? Feeling very old! And he has celebrated by going to school and having his Covid jab haha!

And a dry day here so the utility room is now finally all dry and the washing machine has decided to start working properly again so hopefully we're on track now for some quieter times! We took over some beer and wine to our neighbours who helped us the other night stop the rain flooding the rest of the house so they were shocked and said we didn't need to do that!

And in the garden I had a nice morning planting more bulbs up - tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and iris, along with some wallflowers and stocks. Plenty more to go though but tiredness took over so they can wait another day!  Nice to see the astrantias still flowering though and love this pinky version!

Listening to football now and Southend United are losing yet again despite a new manager being in charge! I give up!!
